The thing to do is never to leave home without your camera… as you never know what you may see on a wall in Barcelona!

There are thousands of flowers and plants carved into the façades of buildings in Barcelona. Calle (Street) Valencia is a great place to find them.  Here’s just one of them: Just frame the good bits and make a border:

Just because it’s a rainy day, it doesn’t mean you can’t take a photo of something you like. You can probably improve it later:

So many doorways are a picture in Barcelona! Just crop out the bits you don’t want and remove the doorbell panel…

I always try to look at everything as if it were a photograph. Even curtains on balconies in the afternoon sun… where I saw some very nice reflections:

Almost anything you photograph can be adapted to make a pretty picture! Just crop out the bits you don’t need and change the colours…

Most of my photos are manipulated in one way or another using Photoshop™. I have used it for more than ten years but am still learning all the time. What I find most difficult of all is understanding the help files… they don’t seem to be written for people like me. Even the series of “for Dummies” books are not easy enough for me. My sister suggests a new range of books is needed: “Photoshop for Absolute Dorks”. (Thanks, Annie!)
