Sitges is a town 35 kilometres southwest of Barcelona. Many years ago, it was a small fishing village but it has since become a major tourist destination and centre for congresses and conventions.

The Rambla Catalunya (not to be confused with the Ramblas) is is one of the most beautiful streets in Barcelona. Lined with lime trees and pavement cafés, it’s a great place to stop for a drink in the shade on a hot day.
